Teaching Philosophy

Mrs. Droz is a fierce advocate for the arts and believes everyone deserves a quality music education. Her teaching style has often been described as “warmth demanding” where she holds students to high expectations while encouraging them to succeed. Playing a string instrument is challenging, and she knows that students are most successful with hard work, a positive attitude, and collaborative efforts from student, teacher, and parents.

In lessons, you can expect Mrs. Droz to be patient and supportive while challenging students to reach their full potential. She strives to “guide the student to be their own teacher” and develop the problem-solving grit needed for life. She looks forward to offering students an inspiring, rewarding, and individualized experience that helps them meet their goals and foster a passion for life-long music learning.
