Summer Lessons

Current students are expected to continue lessons in the summer. It's also a great time for new students to try out private lessons to see if they are a good fit!

Why summer lessons?
  • consistency each week leads to progress

  • continue momentum from school year (students who take summers off usually only make 6 months progress in 1 year because they spend 3 months reviewing after the 3 month break)

  • work on new skills and goals

  • prepare for the fall (auditions for youth orchestra, all state orchestra, next year's orchestra class, etc)

Summer Lesson Calendar 2026:

Starts June 22nd and ends August 27th

There will be NO summer lessons: July 27-August 6th

The 2026-2027 school year schedule will start up again after Labor Day.
